    More December Executions!

There should be tons of executions in December! Makes natural sense, since it is the end of the year. Out with the old, and in January there should be more murderers put on death row.

States won't execute people around holidays. So December is generally devoid of executions since they can't execute anyone for half of the month.
"There is a point in the history of a society when it becomes so pathologically soft and tender that among other things it sides even with those who harm it, criminals, and does this quite seriously and honestly. Punishing somehow seems unfair to it, and it is certain that imagining ‘punishment’ and ‘being supposed to punish’ hurts it, arouses fear in it." Friedrich Nietzsche

Since 2010, there have been 13 December executions. The one to be conducted the latest in the month was on December 17th.

December 31st would be the perfect day for executions. Execute them in the morning, since New Years eve is a semi holiday. The week after Christmas seems like an ideal execution week, all the correctional staff have to be there along with the Admin personnel. I might write a lot of these states with this idea. I have only found one post-furman execution that happened between Christmas and New years. That was Robert Lee Willie who was executed on December 28, 1984. Seems to me that week isn't being utilized enough.
