Violence and death seem to be the only answers that some people understand.
What will (or what has) happened to the other defendants? Are they in prison? or death row?
Rene is serving a life sentence.
I can't find anything on Pedro.
"There is a point in the history of a society when it becomes so pathologically soft and tender that among other things it sides even with those who harm it, criminals, and does this quite seriously and honestly. Punishing somehow seems unfair to it, and it is certain that imagining ‘punishment’ and ‘being supposed to punish’ hurts it, arouses fear in it." Friedrich Nietzsche
Just out of curiosity, what was someone with $600K in cash doing living in a trailer? With that kinda money, she coulda been in a nice house. Sad.
The June 16 execution may or may not move forward, I could see it going either way. Texas, overall, is doing ok with the re-opening, but I’ve heard COVID19 is spreading rapidly in Texas prisons, amongst both guards and inmates, so much so that they’ve cancelled all visits and ordered tests for all inmates in Texas. So, they may end up delaying it.

So far only Missouri has had a spine. The TCCA will probably continue to egregiously abuse its power and stay it.

I think Gutierrez is dead unless he pretends to be retarded like 100% of other inmates who’ve claimed it

She owned the Trailer park and it may have not of been her primary residence. The trailer she was killed in was the office for the park.
As for the money, she probably didn't want to have to pay taxes on it and never declared it.

I also read that she didn't trust banks.

Hello first I apologize because this is the first time I've used a thread like this. I am the niece of Escolastica Harrison. I was wondering the same thing, what happened to the other defendants? My father has told me that one fled to mexico and the other had received life in jail but I don't find him on any inmate list. Also yes she was very distrusting in banks and she and her husband were very frugal. They had worked very hard for everything and she was heart broken when her husband uncle Robert passed from cancer. My mother found her after she did not answer the phone when she called her. We only lived a few streets away from her so it was very easy for my mother to hop in the car and check on her.
