    Quintin Phillippe Jones - Texas Execution - May 19, 2021




    Facts of the Crime:

    On September 11, 1999, Jones murdered his 83-year-old aunt, Berthena Bryant, with a baseball bat. He struck her numerous times over the head and took property from her home.

    Jones was sentenced to death in Tarrant County on March 16, 2001.

    On June 22, 2014, Jones filed a habeas petition in Federal District Court.

    In today's orders, the United States Supreme Court declined to review Jones' petition for certiorari.

    Batting average since 2017 is .363 (4/11) excluding Busby.
