Not even 10 months with the 5th, they really want him gone.

Condemned inmate tied to 4 Texas slayings loses appeal

HOUSTON (AP) - A federal appeals court has refused an appeal from a Texas death row inmate who confessed to four rape-slayings, another sexual attack where the victim survived and to molesting two children.

Attorneys for 54-year-old Anthony Shore argued to the 5th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals that lawyers at Shore's 2004 Harris County trial didn't properly investigate and present evidence of his brain damage and that executing Shore would be unconstitutional because he suffers brain damage.

The appeals court says Shore told his trial attorney not to contest a death sentence and that his appeals lawyer has acknowledged while Shore has brain damage, he isn't intellectually disabled.

Shore was condemned specifically for the 1992 slaying of 20-year-old Maria Del Carmen Estrada. The Houston murder went unsolved for 11 years.

Discovery ID is currently running an episode on Shore.

Evil Lives Here Season 2 Ep 6 My Secret Nightmare

I watched the episode and Shore was molesting his own children for years. They hate him and want him to die. Quote "Tiffany says she does want to be present if and when her father is ultimately executed - for a sense of closure". I wouldn't be surprised if he's pinned for more murders over the years since he was doing that crap to his own kids.

Houston serial murderer known as 'Tourniquet Killer' gets October date with death

Houston's so-called "Tourniquet Killer" - a man convicted of raping and killing young women in Harris County for nearly a decade - is slated for execution in October.

Anthony Allen Shore, 55, terrorized the county in the 1980s and 1990s, leaving behind a trail of young victims in a gruesome set of crimes marked by the killer's use of handmade tourniquets.

He was found guilty in 2004 and, finally, on Thursday, state District Judge Maria T. Jackson set his execution date for Oct. 18.

The brutal killings went unsolved for nearly two decades before Shore was finally arrested for sexually assaulting two girls - both of whom were relatives.

When DNA evidence led to a breakthrough in the cold cases, Shore confessed to each of his crimes, which started with the slaying of 14-year-old Laurie Tremblay in 1986.

Six years later, he raped and murdered 21-year-old Maria del Carmen Estrada before leaving her naked body in the drive-through of a Spring Branch Dairy Queen.

In 1994, he killed 9-year-old Dana Rebollar, followed by the murder of 16-year-old Dana Sanchez the following year.

All of the victims were raped and tortured before he strangled them with the handmade tourniquets.

Shore is a "true serial killer, a person deserving of the ultimate punishment," Harris County District Attorney Kim Ogg said in a statement Thursday.

"His crimes were predatory, and his victims the most vulnerable in society - women and children. For his brutal acts, the Death Penalty is appropriate."

A victim's advocate described Shore as the poster child for why they have the DP in Texas. I agree he is one of the worst.
"I realize this may sound harsh, but as a father and former lawman, I really don't care if it's by lethal injection, by the electric chair, firing squad, hanging, the guillotine or being fed to the lions."
