Good to see that an Eleventh Circuit panel made up of two Clinton appointees and one Obama appointee unanimously upheld Bishop's death sentence.
Bishop had until March 2 to file a cert petition but it seems like it hasn't taken place.

Now if The GSC would just rule on the state's shield law. Georgia has something of a backlog. Nothing like other states, but a backlog none the less.
I hope the state has the drugs on hand once the GSC reverses the lower court. They post opinions to be released on Fridays for the next week.
The GSC said they would rule in 4 to 6 months back in February, so that means June. I suspect it may come sooner given the string of defeats the Anti's have had here of late. Besides SCOTUS has granted cert in a Florida mental retardation case. It's under reviewe right now. The only thing holding up Warren Lee Hill's execution is a ruling from The GSC on the shield law.
On October 3, 2013, the US Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit denied Bishop's petition for rehearing en banc.
On March 3, 2014, he filed a certiorari petition before the US Supreme Court.
