    Heidler was given four death sentences for the December 1997 shotgun slayings of Kim and Danny Daniels and two of their children, Bryant, 8, and Jessica, 16.

    On January 10, 2022, oral argument will be heard in Heidler's appeal before the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.
