    In March 2000, a jury sentenced Gregory P. Lawler to death for the fatal shooting of Atlanta Police Officer John Sowa in 1997.

    On February 25, 2011, Lawler filed a habeas petition in Federal District Court.

    Nothing will give me more personal satisfaction than to see this dirtbag who murdered my friend Rick put down like a dog. As a long time Reserve Police Officer in Massachusetts, I wait unfailingly to see this through and have some bit of justice served to his memory. This sociopath has less humanity than a sewer rat.

    On May 29, 2014, Lawler filed an appeal before the US Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit over the presumable denial of his habeas petition in Federal District Court.

    On December 10, 2015, in an unpublished opinion, the Eleventh Circuit DENIED Lawler's appeal. The judges were Tjoflat (Ford), Wilson (Clinton) and Martin (Obama).

    In today's orders, the United States Supreme Court declined to review Lawler's petition for certiorari.

    Appeals exhausted. Ruling could result in execution date.
    Don't ask questions, just consume product and then get excited for next products.
