I fear DeSantis will lose the race. A Republican has been in for 8 years, not good for the Republican candidate. Not to mention you have far left radicals pushing nationwide, just like we had the Tea Party in 2010. The problem is further augmented by a few factors:
Unlike the Tea Party, the socialists have the media, social media bias, and other shills in their corner.
Also, people born in 2000 and earlier can vote now. I guarantee a lot of those idiots (not all youth are idiots of course - I'm youth myself) will turn out in droves to fulfill their Bernie Bro fantasies.
Also, DeSantis had the monkey gaffe. It wasn't racist, but it was poorly chosen. The media will pounce on it. The media reporting in AL last year caused enough clowns to stay home and cost Moore the race against Jones.
In short, I don't think the blue wave is going to be much. We'll keep the Senate and a lot of governorships. Maybe make gains. But I think there's a chance FL will be lost for the governorship. On the bright side, Rick Scott could very well unseat Bill Nelson.
