Prisoners at Terre Haute have filed an emergency motion to halt the Higgs execution as the BOP/DOJ yesterday allegedly ignored covid precautions as imposed by an earlier preliminary injunction.

What the prisoners want doesn’t matter. Higgs will be executed

If the execution team truly was in contempt I could see this being called off. I don't really care one way or the other if he goes. Montgomery and Johnson are the ones that NEEDED to die.

I would have preferred a clean sweep of Johnson's crew.

If it was, Trump should do what he does best: fire 'em.

It's unacceptable that officers break injunctions resulting in stays of execution, especially when it is so easy to respect the rules.

The district court for the Southern District of Indiana has ordered prison officials to argue before 7 pm tonight why they should not be held in contempt for violating the injunction.

Yeah I don't understand why they didn't schedule Tipton and Roane.

In a surprising turn of events, the Indiana District Court denied the request to halt the execution.

I just remembered...didn't one get beaten up for being a snitch? Maybe he's more valuable alive than dead.
