Earthquake rattles Washington, East Coast
An earthquake hit the East Coast Tuesday afternoon. The U.S. Geological Survey said the earthquake had a 5.8 magnitude and it’s center hit near the town of Mineral, Virginia.
People reported feeling the ground move in Washington, New York, Philadelphia, Boston and Cleveland.
In Washington, people spilled out onto the streets and reports came in that the earthquake was strong enough in Virginia to break glass and shake products off store shelves.
