Yes, maybe even less since Virginia sets execution dates directly after Fourth Circuit denials rather than waiting for the US Supreme Court to make a decision on certiorari. However, the Fourth Circuit has grown increasingly liberal and far more disposed to overturning death sentences than it used to be. So, we'll see.
Potentially, though, Virginia could whittle their death row down to two guys by the end of next year. Porter, Teleguz, Prieto, Juniper, Gray and Morva could get dates next year. That would leave just Lawlor (who's just about to file in Federal District Court) and Burns (whose appeals have long been on hold because he's loopy).
