We could lower the cost on death row by carrying out the executions in a timely fashion instead of wasting so many years on all the appeals. The cost to clothe, feed, provide shelter, medical care, etc. is way over $1,286 spent on an execution. We have so many that have been there way too long. It would save us a bunch of money to carry out their sentences & keep the waiting time down to less than 5 years.

What it really comes down to...an innocents life is PRICELESS! Let them keep pushing the issue. We can use a bullet, electricity, or a hemp rope if they prefer!

$1,286 is chump change. This is a non-issue invented by those who oppose capital punishment.

Yes I cant help thinking of Antis who were rubbing their hands when Lethal Injection became the norm as a method because of the higher chances the execution could be botched by straps being too tight or whatever. What the US needs is a Pierrepoint who got them dead in under 13 seconds with rope. And I agree with Heidi, the victims life is priceless.
