    Clint Eastwood In The House?

Recently Clint Eastwood was quoted, " There's not a guy in the world that wouldn't want to drop the hammer on them," Eastwood said of death row inmates. "But in our society you have certain people trying to analyze what we give them for lethal injection. What's the difference? Battery acid would be fine."

Sounds like we have some of the same mindset!

OH, and Cali has some real princes and princesses on DR. I really hope that they do not vote to end the death penalty there, so many there are very deserving...David Westerfield comes to mind! With him you cannot help but wonder, how many victims he had that we do not know about!

What is interesting about your quote Gooch is that physicians have stated that decapitation is in fact the only form of execution that can be guaranteed to actually be painless.

Well sure.....but how can they really know. What I mean by this is, for years and years (well into the 70's) some of the best minds in Medicine insisted that Newborns could not feel pain.

Later than that, even. Up until the mid-Nineties, it was commonplace to operate on babies while they were under the influence only of a paralytic agent (in other words, without an anaesthetic). There was no sadistic motive here: if a baby is incapable of rendering pain, then it must automatically be an unnecessary risk to administer an anaesthetic.
