Senators Murray and Cantwell also lied to the White House about supporting Eric Miller.

The two remaining active judges are both eligible for senior status but likely aren’t because there’d be no full time judges left.

Wow, that was quick. In less than a week after her death Trump announces a nominee to her seat (and to another one on the same court).

Good. Don't give Sleepy Joe a chance to fill it.
Don't ask questions, just consume product and then get excited for next products.

The root cause of this is there's no discipline in the homes, they don't go to school, you know, they live off the government, no personal accountability, and they just beat people up for no reason, and it's disgusting." - Former Hamilton County Prosecutor Joe Deters

They were likely finalists for the first seat (explains the wait if trump was going back and forth on them) so when a new one opened up they were able to just say they wanted both

The Senate has confirmed James Knepp to the Northern District of Ohio, and Aileen Cannon to the Southern District of Florida.

Additionally, McConnell has filed cloture on the following judges:

Kristi Johnson, Southern District of Mississippi

Benjamin Beaton, Western District of Kentucky

    Toby Crouse, Kansas

Kathryn Mizelle, Middle District of Florida

Taylor McNeal, Southern District of Mississippi

Too bad more California nominees won’t be confirmed, particularly in the Eastern district.

Yesterday, Kathryn Mizelle was confirmed for the Middle District of Florida. McConnell has filed cloture on Philip Calabrese, for the Northern District of Ohio.

At this rate the Ohio seat, the two TN seats, the SC seat, and the 7th and 1st circuit seats should be able to be filled. The future opening on the 7th and the one FL seat open are technically possible but it will be hard unless he gets nominees fast.

I wonder why Graham is not having more hearings. There are so many California nominees. Even some federalist society ones (eg Rosen). If they leave these open these guys won't be renominated and you'll have the extremists coming in who'll be on the circuits and scotus a few years later.
