    When fingers are outlawed...

When fingers are outlawed, only outlaws will have fingers.

Jordon Bennett, a third-grader at Harmony Community School, was suspended after being accused of simulating a gun with his hand.

According to the school’s paperwork, the boy was suspended for TRL, which is making a threat to another student.

The child’s mother, Bonnie Bennett, said Jordon was just playing a game of cops and robbers.

“Just like that, he had nothing in his hand, no toy, no stick, no pencil,” Bonnie Bennett said. “He had nothing in his hand to even give the appearance of a real gun; it was his finger.”

The school declined to comment on the specific evidence because of confidentiality.

However, Osceola County Schools released a statement regarding simulating a gun with a finger.

“It’s not just a question of finger guns,” a representative said. “The principal looks at the totality of the incident, what occurred before, during and after and whether the student felt threatened.”

Despite the school's statement, Bonnie Bennett said she believes the principal went too far.

“He was playing a child’s game, and I understand it’s not appropriate to do that on school property, and I have spoken to him about that, but at the time, he just thought he was playing an innocent game with another child, and that’s all it was,” she said.

Doesn't this belong in a "GUN'S" / "FINGERS" sub thread?
The inmate "could long ago have ended his anxieties and uncertainties by submitting to what the people have deemed him to deserve: execution."

When guns are outlawed(or severley restricted) you get zero to very few mass shootings and about 100 gun deaths a year.

When you have 300 million guns you have 70+ mass shootings, 30,000+ gun deaths and another 100,000+ shot annualy!

When chocolate is 'outlawed' or severly restricted you get very few masses of fat people. When you have 300 gazillion different types of chocolate you get fattys eating it and millions of obesity related deaths annually.

Let's not even talk about donuts...............oy vey.
“Ninety-nine percent have made peace with their God. Their victims didn’t have that choice.”

    “You're not entitled to a pain-free execution.”

Even if chocolate and donuts were gone there are enough burgers, hot dogs, fried chicken, etc. to keep people really fat!
