    In my opinion they did have a choice. They could’ve told Brownlow and his attorney to stick it where the sun don’t shine and move on to the next appeal.

    What next appeal? Brownlow had already won his appeal and had been granted a new sentencing trial. The state expert has examined him and said that it's impossible
    to make a case at the new trial that he is not intellectually disabled. There is literally nothing they can do at that point.

    @Bob, the TCCA can take months to issue a new sentencing trial, citing an intellectual disability claim.
