Odd question but I've always wondered. Do they give executed inmates spot in the obituaries after they are executed? I myself am thinking they don't but, you never know.

The state doesn't, but the family of the inmate could pay for an obit. I guess it would be up to the newspaper as to whether they would run it.

I remember reading online the obituary for Robert Garza it even said he died in Huntsville. I would think it is up to the family if they want to publish one.
I know this is an old thread, but I forgot I had created this post. Was messing around with the site in my phone and found where I can see my old created threads. I can believe all the condolences at the bottom of that monsters obituary. I really was tempted to to write Rot in hell you murderous piece of shit. But I figured it would get erased and that is just being petty I suppose.
